Whole-Home Remodel in Schaumburg, IL

The Kitchen

We started with the kitchen. New cabinets went in throughout. Cream shaker-style uppers for a clean, open look. Olive lowers and a matching kitchen island that anchors the room. Recessed lighting overhead keeps everything bright without cluttering the ceiling with fixtures.

The cabinetry ties into the color palette running through the rest of the house. Soft, grey walls paired with white and cream accents. It is a combination that feels fresh without trying too hard. The kind of kitchen that makes you want to actually use it.

New luxury vinyl plank flooring runs from the kitchen through the hallway and into the main living space. Warm tones. Clean seams. No awkward transitions between rooms.

The Bathroom

The bathroom got a complete overhaul. We pulled the old setup and started from scratch.

No more bathtub, new shower installation with a full tile surround. The shower walls are large-format white marble-look tile with a vertical accent strip subway tile. We built a recessed shower niche and lined it with the same accent tile. It is a small detail, but it is the kind of thing that separates a thoughtful remodel from a rushed one.

All the bathroom hardware is brushed bronze. Showerhead, faucet handles, vanity faucet. It brings warmth to the space without making it feel dated. The vanity itself is a sage green finish with a white quartz countertop and a frameless mirror above it. New porcelain floor tile underneath. The walls carry that same faint minty tone you see in the rest of the home, keeping everything connected room to room.

Floors, Trim, and Doors

Beyond the kitchen and bathroom, we ran new luxury vinyl plank flooring through the entire home. Down the hallway. Through the open-concept living area with its stone-surround fireplace. Wall to wall, no shortcuts.

New white interior doors went in. New door frames. New baseboards and trim work throughout. Crisp white against the soft wall colors. These are the details that pull a whole remodel together. Without them, a new floor is just a new floor. With them, the house feels finished.
